Entrepreneurial Journal Final Blog

Through this course, the most profound lesson I learned Is, “I was born with a purpose, a mission to change the world by serving others, impacting their lives positively. First, I have to find what my mission is.” I learned not to be afraid of dreaming, dreaming big. And then pursue my dream with consistency. I was taught how I could reach my star through a path of steppingstones, one at the time. The course must be flanked by moral and ethical guardrails that will protect me from fall away.

If my dream is big enough and is set to make a change in the world and brings joy and happiness not only to me but to others as well, then most likely should produce some wealth. However, money should not be my first and utmost objective. Another fundamental piece of advice that I received was to set my priorities in advance, even before beginning my entrepreneur journal. We cannot walk this path alone, we need companions, and we need mentors. Some of our mentors may warn us about starting up a business and having a family at the same time. They may say one of them will fail or maybe both. A great entrepreneur, Randy Haykin, proved that argument to be wrong. If we understand that no success in life compensates for the failure at home, we will find the right balance between work and family.

I learned to be prepared, that when the opportunity shows up, I might be ready to take advantage and develop my full potential. Every experience should be a lesson to step up one level above where we will face more challenges with more wisdom.

This course taught me to begin a serious learning process that will never end, leading me to become a change-maker. In my ups and downs, I will count my blessings instead of whining; I will help others instead of boasting with pride for my achievements. My heart is full of gratitude because at ended this course with many essential knowledge and resolutions that will bless my life.

My words of advice for those beginning their entrepreneur journey is to find your mission, dream big, never stop learning, give priority to what is of eternal value, help others, and be grateful.
